I like how it's zoomed in so you can see the texture on the petals. However, it seems a little washed-out at the top, on parts of the petals, and underexposed in the lower right, thought this may be part of the darkroom manipulation, whatever that is...
Also, it looks like there are JPEG artifacts in the lower right.
Second, the poem.
If you wrote it, I have this to say: I do like the emotional challenge it describes.
One overall problem is that I can't see any way that the photo and poem are connected; but I am wondering, was it intended to be that way?
