I usually write long critiques but I'm going to try to keep this one simple. Overall I really dig this image. The contrast between the explosive chaos on the left and the elegant simplicity on the right is a really nice juxtaposition. However, you're missing a trick here in one way: color composition. The left-hand side contains all the chaos (which will draw the eye) AND contains the primary complementary color (red) against the green on the right. Unfortunately, your figure (which I believe is the intended subject) is attempting to draw the eye to to her being human (people always are attracted to human figures in art). So, the result is that my eye is being drawn back and forth in a manner that is uncomfortable. The best solution would be to perhaps replace the red chaos on the left with another color (maybe blue or yellow) and give the figure red hair. Seriously, I think that'd dramatically effect the balance and focal point of the image, and make it all the more powerful.
God, your gallery is so inspiring! This is so wonderful and emotive! All those colors are wonderful!
I love how music always sums up how I'm feeling at a particular moment. Not only that, but your artwork is amazing. Music group people should ask you to create their album artwork!
