well this is a story to tell

at a devmeet in Texas
he didn't know what was next, cos
he saw her and his heart went boom

so now they're an item
there's nothing quite like them
Brangelina, done in true dA style

Mister Random of axes
from Noo Yawk to the lone star of Texas
Who knew that the old cowboy could pull

a rose of such splendour
as Ali, but betcha
she's got a few thorns and a bite!

two hotties in lurve,
sent from above
in heaven they're under a spell

but there's nothing surer
let me assure ya
for this poem they're sending me to hell :)

halfwayyou wanted me to meet you halfway
but I never knew if that was at Vondelpark, or in your head
you attempted to entice me, elluding to untold tales,
of unspoken thoughts, illicit ventures and daydreams
which you wanted to direct, of course
into some romantic gestures, with a floydian soundtrack
written just for me -- surely I could not resist!
but forgive me; I'd rather not
the reasons are many, but few revealed
unlike your duplicitous ego, a chip on your shoulder
did you even know that I preferred the scars there?
at least they were honest, despite being pretentiously gained

NaPo 4betrayal comes in many forms
and feeds off bitter contempt
inspired by those who stab at others
whilst carving false hope
secretly praying for redemption
yet knowing they held every card
including the one which they hid up their sleeve
and so revealing the so called friend

i like the brushes effect you used on this on, tough i miss more typographic effects to give the words a stronger feeling/meaning.
Like the word hold for example, if you would set it more bold/bigger it would express how much she wanted nothing more then just to be hold.
Maybe something more like this [link]

Anyway nice job, i like typographic effects

Really good one ! Like in a movie, we can imagine a tragic end. The woman left his life and fall in the water. She 's die for the real world but she 'll meet the person she want... The person she think all the time. It's rain a lot the other person (already in the sky) cry her dead last girlfriend.
But she 's happy to meet him soon (and we can see on the pict), she let out a last sigh... She's delivered...
