deviantART is a home to all types of artists, and the deviantART Prints Program & Shop is another outlet and way for artists to be seen and make their work available for
purchase. Now it will be easier than ever for writers, authors & poets to make and sell prints of their written works.
"Prints for Lit"</i> offers high quality print ready templates and template packages free for download to be used by writers as a background to their written arts.
The templates are created by a small group of specially selected talented designers from around deviantART, and are free to use for the purpose of prints. You don't need to obtain permission from the desiners as we have already provided this, making the process as simple as possible for everyone. You may download the templates, arrange your text/poems/written arts, upload, and submit to deviantART Prints, its just that easy!
This is the perfect opportunity for the Literature Community to sell their work, providing the ability to finally make available prints, gifts for friends and family, or to showcase your work at an exibition -- the possibilities are endless. Think of it as stock for the Literature Community!
But of course, this idea is not exclusive to ~PrintsForLit, infact we would like to encourage you to submit your own templates to be used in prints for written arts simply go to Submit Deviation > Category > Tutorials & Resources > Literature Templates!
In case you haven't noticed already - the holidays are just around the corner and the shipping dates are closing in</b>, now's the time to submit your Literature Prints and have them just delivered just in time to slip under the tree!
Once you have found a template that you like, simply download and open using an image editing application of your choice such as Photoshop, and simply enter your text. Save the image and submit your deviation to the following category;
Contests and Projects > Events > Projects & Clubs > Literature As Prints
You will then be prompted to offer this available as a print, and of course, you will want to, since this is the whole point of our project! If you are unfamiliar with the print submission process, you may wish to check out the following tutorials, which provide clear, visual guidance on how to do so.
