EDIT - To the few people who are wondering why there is no "BAN TRACING" option. I've got a bit of a shocker for you, are you ready?

le gasp. I know, pick your jaw up off the floor and slap it back up again, presto.

I'm aware that many of you believe that you have a future career ahead of you in armchair copyright law intepreting copyright laws. But until you make the bar (and I'm not talking about the one where you buy your tequila from every friday night) - I'll decline your offer to tell me what I should - or shouldn't do in terms of policy development and enforcement.

We already have a very cool lawyer who's part of our community and knows his shit about copyright inside and out, having worked in the film industry for longer than most of you have been able to write your name with a crayola crayon. I love you guys, I really do - but I trust our lawyer.

We will not be banning tracing. The "new policy" is not new - it's been around for 2+ years and the level of knickers in a twist over this makes me think wonder when I started to work in a burlesque joint.

Please show some tolerance and open your minds before you vote in the polls. People screaming at me and sending me threatening notes won't work. If you want a serious, progressive debate, get your facts right and talk with me - not AT me. It works wonders.

Mind open? Community spirited? Understand the meaning of inclusion, empowerment and want to actually INFLUENCE CHANGE? By all means vote here. But if you want a bitchfest, want to claim that we are breaking the law and oh my god you are gonna report me to the FBI, you're thinking about sending me a note to call me a bitch, or expect us to ban some of the people who you just love to whine about at because OMG THEY TRACED, THAT'S NOT ART. Please, kindly move along, the wahmbulance needs to park nearer the monitor to let you get on board safely.
